The Entire Track, Pits and Tower/Snack Bar area is now Concrete!!!

The Trench across the Speedway's Pits for Power & Water to our
Site was dug and the conduits were installed!
Thank You to Penhall (Garry Attridge), Darrol Johnson (Jacob Johnson's
uncle), Champion Electric (Eric Reay's friend) and Bill Garnier
(Eddie Secord's family friend).
**A special Thank You to Tom Lemere for coming to our rescue again
and helped dig and lay the electrical conduit in the trench!
And to Mike Wright again for your help!!
And a Huge Thank You to Glen Tyson for coming to run the front loader
after everyone left to help finish filling the trench back up and
clean up for the asphalt contractor today!
Attached are some photos.

Additional Info:
• Asphalt across the trench is to be done today.
• The Fencing has been ordered and will be installed the end
of next week.
• I'm meeting with the Landscaper this Sunday.
• We have another day of final grading around the perimeter
of the track next week.
• Line painting on the track possibly next week.
• The Tower & Snack Bar to moved middle of next week.
• Bob Putnam & John Behen will be moving the race barriers
over to the new track on May 3-4th and will be installing the 3'
Hot Shoot Pit Wall. They will need help from those not going to
the Region 11 Race in Las Vegas. Please contact Bob Putnam if you

** These are some of the items we are still in need of:
• Someone to come (preferably this Sunday) and anchor the
Tower to the Storage container below.
• 2x4 Framing under the Tower Counter.
• Liner and Sand (possibly the hypoallergenic kind that is
now recommended) for the children's new sand box.
• (10) 250 watt, 240 volt Metal Halide Track Lights and slip
fittings for the 30' Light Poles.
• Additional Trees around the perimeter of the Track.
• Picnic Table
• approx. 450' of 250 mcm copper cable (3 conductors - 2 hot
and 1 neutral) & #2 Ground approx. 500' #6 wire (for 3 runs)
** It looks like we will be Planning our Grand Opening Ceremony
for Saturday, May 10th!! More info. will be sent shortly.
It appears we won't be racing on Mother's Day!
It appears the 1st Race on our New Track will be Sunday, May 18th!
(which gives everyone another day of practice on the new track
on Saturday, May 17th).
