SAFETY ISSUES:
A reminder about the pit area: Make sure no kids are
in the pits at ANY time (race or practice). Drivers
should get out of their car outside the track exit
gate. At no time should a driver be allowed to exit
their car inside the pit area. Also, kids who are
not drivers should not be in the pits. The age requirement
is 16 years old. Non QMA members cannot be in the
pit area as well. These rules are in place for insurance
purposes.
HANDLER SAFETY:
Anytime a handler is on the track please remind your
driver to slow down & be extra careful. Handlers
should not turn their backs on the cars. NGQMA had
a horrible accident and the handler had to be taken
to the hospital. He is okay, but stitches were needed.
TRACK FUEL - 87 Octane is recommended
HQMA's fuel test sample will come from the Conoco
Gas Station located at the corner of Drake Ave &
Leeman Ferry Rd.
Directions from track: Exit gate and turn right at
stop sign. Go to 1st red light (Leeman Fry Rd) and
turn left. Go thru light and gas station is on the
left.
